Simpson Lab is the premier contract manufacturer for domestically produced good manufacturing certified supplements. Simpson Labs is manufacturer of vitamins, premixes and general wellness nutraceuticals for many top brands. The product development of dry powders includes five stages including product development, formulation approval, purchase order, production of customer goods and delivery. We will speak briefly about these stages
and the action items that occur in each phase.

DEVELOPMENT
In the R&D phase a brand will discuss product concepts with one of our formulations and product development specialists in. These experts will help guide you through your goals and the details of your product components. Once your formulation meeting is complete you will move to the research and development sampling phase. In this process you will receive samples of your formulation in requested flavor profiles. Once your product sample is received you will review and reply with feedback to your Simpson Labs Contact.
*In the R&D phase you will receive a maximum of three rounds of taste samples at no cost. Additional rounds of samples or formulation changes will trigger a $1,500 fee that can be applied as your deposit upon production.

APPROVAL
When you are ready to approve your sample for production you will relay the external/cross-reference code (example W4567) number found on every sample and ingredient panel to your representative. This reference code will link to the approved formula for quotation and documentation purposes. Sample approval will trigger the following actions.

A quantity tiered price quote containing preliminary SFP and preliminary packaging information.
2. Product Mockup
A full containers amount of product is produced by Simpson Labs for package sizing.
3. Formula review
Preliminary formula review by Simpson Labs regulatory for final label information.
4. Submission
Submission of Welcome Package to Client from Simpson Labs.

PROCESS
In this stage a customer will provide a Purchase Order and executed Welcome Package to initiate their order. The receipt of the client Purchase Order will be confirmed with Simpson Labs Order Confirmation. The Welcome Package contains necessary customer documents essential for manufacturing. The deposit amount identified on your quotation will be the final customer action in the order process. After deposit is received procurement and label finalization begin.

CUSTOMER GOODS
This stage is where label creation and production of finished goods are produced. Once the Purchase Order Process is completed the procurement and label review process is initiated. Raw materials are allocated/ordered for production and packaging component needs are identified. Label dimensions (dieline) and product mockups are submitted to and approved by client. Customer’s graphic artist will populate their label dieline with corresponding product information and submit proof to labels@simpsonlabs.net for review.

FINISHED GOODS
Simpson Labs manufactured products are FOB and the customer is responsible for coordinating pickup with the received shipping dimensions once notified. Finished goods will be palletized, stacked and labeled for shipment to end user. If the customer has chosen to use our fulfillment services, then Simpson Labs will coordinate delivery to SL Fulfillment and relay distribution receipt to the client.
