Simpson Labs is the premier contract manufacturer for domestically produced supplements that require Good Manufacturing Practice certification. From dry powder vitamins to premixes to general wellness nutraceuticals, Simpson Labs manufactures a range of products for leading brands in the supplement industry. Additionally, we offer softgels and two-piece hardshell capsules. Generating supplements in accordance with good practices guidelines involves five stages: product development, formulation approval, the purchase order process, the production of customer goods, and the delivery of those goods. We will speak briefly about each of these stages and their accompanying action items.
DEVELOPMENT
In the R&D phase of flavored powder formulation, our specialists work one-on-one with your brand to generate compelling product concepts. We guide you through the process of determining your goals and finalizing your product components. After completing the formulation phase, we move with you to the research and development sampling phase, during which you receive samples of your product in requested flavor profiles. After receiving these samples, you have an opportunity to review them and reply with feedback to your Simpson Labs Contact.

APPROVAL
When you are ready to approve your sample for production, you will relay the external/cross-reference code number (example W4567) found on the ingredient panel of the sample to your representative. This reference code will link your product to the approved formula for quotation and documentation purposes.

PROCESS
At this stage, you provide Simpson Labs with a Purchase Order and an executed welcome package to complete the process. Simpson Labs Order Confirmation team then reviews the Purchase Order and issues a receipt to you. Our customer welcome package contains documents essential for the manufacturing process. The deposit in the amount identified on the order confirmation, initiates the final step in the order process. After you submit your deposit, ingredient procurement and label finalization begin.
PROCESS
In this stage a customer will provide a Purchase Order and executed Welcome Package to initiate their order. The receipt of the client Purchase Order will be confirmed with Simpson Labs Order Confirmation. The Welcome Package contains necessary customer documents essential for manufacturing. The deposit amount identified on your quotation will be the final customer action in the order process. After deposit is received procurement and label finalization begin.

CUSTOMER GOODS
After completion of the Purchase Order process, Simpson Labs proceeds with ingredient procurement and label review. Our specialists allocate/order raw materials for production and identify all required packaging components. You then have an opportunity to assess and approve label dimensions (dieline) and product mockups. As part of that process, your graphic artist populates the label dieline with corresponding product information and submits the proof to labels@simpsonlabs.net for review. Prior to printing the label, our Simpson Labs regulatory specialists review the master production records against the label proof you have submitted (labels@simpsonlabs.net). The Simpson Labs team then identifies any label issues and saves an approved label standard for use following the receipt of customer-supplied labels. All incoming labels must match the proofs previously approved by Simpson Labs. Upon arrival of the customer-supplied label, the Simpsons Labs scheduling window opens. We provide order completion estimates one week after label receipt, and your Simpson Labs account representative keeps you updated on order details.

FINISHED GOODS
Products manufactured by Simpson Labs are FOB, which renders you as the client responsible for coordinating pickup based on the received shipping dimensions. We palletize, stack, and label finished goods for shipment to the end user. If you choose to use our fulfillment services, Simpson Labs coordinates delivery to SL Fulfillment and relays distribution receipt to you.
